Interesting. I don’t understand what’s holding them though. Site says ceiling hangar bolts. Are there threaded holes in the ceiling?

There are coat hanger brackets - looks like that's what they attach to.

Oh, ok, now I get it. Didnt notice before, but it looks like it has a bracket back there that reaches over to the regular hanger holes.

interesting idea. I think I’d prefer an installation that used side molly panels, because it spread the load a bit more over 6 bolts instead of two. In either case, I’d keep the mounted weight low for safety in accidents

I'm thinking it might be a compromise - some of us like having the cargo cover because we occasionally park in areas where we don't want thieves to see what's in the back so a window MOLLE cover won't work.

I'd like to move my recovery gear somewhere out of the way

Well, I ordered it and the molle bags to go with it. I'll post pictures once it arrives and I install it.

I have yet to full up the bags or clean or organize my cargo area.

However, for all the small items it holds I'd rate this thing in the "yeah, I'd probably buy it again" category.

Highest rating goes to sema side mirrors and lowest rating goes to Genesis dual battery system.

Thanks! I’ve been trying to figure out my setup I wanna go. Could I ask a couple measurements? Floor to bottom of the shelf and top of shelf to ceiling? And chance it should be mounted upside down/Would things fit between the top and the ceiling too?

It's not all that sturdy where much could go on top. I think it's rated for 85 lbs
Plus anything unsecured becomes a missile in an accident.
It's currently in the shop due a cylinder 3 misfire. I have about 32,000 miles on it and am trying to figure out how that happened.

It looks like the CaliRaised Interior Molle system would be a lot more useful

It most definitely would be. I got this because I wanted to keep the option of rear cargo cover and because smaller size. If you don't mind giving up a rear cargo cover it's a no brainier.
