My questions are what brand etc would you use to make the back rear windows, and maybe the rear sliding one. I'd like it as dark s possible. Brand of tint etc. Is their any concern with long term damage to the heating element in the rear sides as well. What would you expect to be a reasonable price for this? The fronts were done by the dealer as dark as legal here. Thanks for the ideas and recommendations.A81878C0-BD17-439A-BB77-EA1C26468EEF.jpg

I personally would run a 10% high-quality ceramic tint over the factory privacy glass. You can go darker with 5%, but it will affect nighttime visibility out of those windows. I have always used Huper Optik ceramic with amazing results. Picking an experienced and detailed tint installer is more critical than a tint brand. Once you find that installer, see what they sell/recommend for ceramic tint.

What steelevo said above is excellent advice regardless of what tint percentage you choose. Research a well-reviewed tint shop that does high-quality work. Visit a few shops and get a feel for the business and the people there. If you pay peanuts you get a monkey.

I put 31% Autobahn Black all around and the front meters at 28% (state legal) and the rear and back window meter at around 10% due to the factory privacy glass already being about 30%.

You may want to have the dealer-installed front window tint removed as it is probably of low quality with minimal heat rejection. I paid to have mine removed when they installed the Autobahn Black.

If you are interested in privacy for spending time in the back, that's another issue. I sleep in my truck three nights a week, every week. See my post in the thread below for what works for me:

For me its complete blackout now. Cant even peep through port window from outside
But then i already had 20% tint.

With the shades, I can remove during inclement weathers for better visibility. Unlike 5% tints.

5% ceramic for me. Not doing ceramic actually traps heat in your car. Pay the extra. It’s totally worth it

So I found a solid experienced shop in Greeley who did my back two windows with 5% ceramic. Im happy with the way it looks. I may do more later..I'll wait and see how I like it. They made it look so easy. They use a computer set up that cuts it perfectly for them.

I did 5% on the two front windows and wrapped the rest with 15% over the factory shaded glass on the rest of the side windows of the rear minus the rear hatch I left factory and it came out really dark.

Looks Awesome. Visibility on my front tint 20% layer is a bit of Issue during inclement weather and turning into dark side streets without Floodlights.

You will get used to it after a while
