    Hi,

I just purchased this 2nd Gen 4Runner recently and was replacing my knock sensor. While going through the process, all my hoses were dry rotted and needed replacing. I think I somehow tossed this hose connector and I'm trying to put everything back together. Does anyone have this connect piece highlighted in red? I'm in San Diego, I'm hoping there is someone local that has this piece. I'm looking for the one with the T-junction, as this goes to the rear heater line that I have in my car. I attached both just to highlight the part. Please let me know if you have the part or know the part number, thank you!

Btw, this is not my engine! I spent a lot of time cleaning mine. Haha, I found this picture online and it happened to have a great picture of the piece I'm missing.

Welcome. Sorry I am of no help. Hopefully someone will chime in and help. Have you tried any junk yards?

I actually don't know of any junk yards with 2nd Gen 4Runners in San Diego. If anyone knows that as well, that would be helpful! I was going to start Googling and calling around this week.

I think I have a spare at home. I grabbed one of those cuz it looked way cleaner than mine and swapped it in. I'll see if the old one is the piece you're looking for. It's a little corroded, but is functional.

That would be awesome! I'm all for cleaning up some corroded parts, my original one had a big chunk missing. Do you now if it has the T-junction that goes to the rear heater line? I finally found a pic of my lost piece in my phone. Here you can see where I cut the hose, it's the small tube laying on the bench, that's the line that goes to the rear heater hose. If not, I'll still take it and I'll just plug up that other side for now. I really hope it's the one I'm looking for, you'd make my day!
