Anyone tried these yet? I've ordered them for my 2017 Offroad. Dimension of KC lightbar is same as my Rigid 20" so it should work. Screen Shot 2017-06-27 at 10.49.08 PM.jpg

I can confirm that these brackets do fit the Rigid 20" light bar and works well on the 4Runner. One bolt per side to loosen and then place bracket and drop in light bar.

Looking to do same thing on my 17' TRD Off Road. Looks nice! Any other suggestions on options?

I'm struggling with what type of basket to put on top. I did buy the OEM crossbars. Yakima load warrior with the extension is where I am leaning.

The Nfab rack system looks pretty solid, it's a little more low profile and we'll build unless you just like a basket style. I had a Yakima system in my Taco and it worked well.

    Harvey,
Did you have any other suggestions on behind the grill light bars. I've been looking at other options and found the KC HiLights C series to be pretty good value. What made you go with the RIGID 20"? There seems to be a ton of options but getting the mounts matched up right to the size is the tricky part..

On my Tacoma I drilled and threaded holes and mounted aluminum angle to the back of the Aluminum crossmember to mount the same light bar. I could have spread it out to accommodate a longer one. I picked the Rigid based on the specs and warranty but there are other ones just as good. The Tacoma sight has different mounting options and brackets that may fit the 4runner.

@HarveyElmore I am glad that you were able to use our bracket to suit your needs, regardless of which light you chose! Let me know if you need any help with anything in the future.

@MattsterG - our C-Series light bar is a pretty dang good option and truly is tough to beat for the price. Our behind the grille kit designed specifically for the 4Runner has been used by quite a few folks now with some great feedback. Send me a PM if you're interested and I'll see what I can do! Pics below are from a recent customer who just installed the kit.

You guys make great lights. I had Daylighters back in the late 70's on my CJ7 that would like up the sky (and slow down the engine, lol). I'm not done adding lights so you guys are always an option, and a very good one.

I like it. May move it up one notch and angle down more, not sure yet....have had it awhile now but haven’t done it.

Nice! Yes the goal is to have that illuminating the short to mid range areas and moving it up a notch would certainly help extend the distance while lighting up the immediate area.
