I have a 2016 4Runner Limited. I just did a 2.5 inches suspension lift. The shop (www.chitown4x4.com) did the job and recommended their "stage 6": Front Bilstein 6112, Rear Bilstein 5100 with OME medium coils. Also went from 20 inches wheels to 17 inches on Black Rhino Warlord and Nitto Ridge 285/70/17.

    Rms size- Offset: 12mm/backspacing 5.47", Width 9"

The shop told me there would be rubbing and they might have to some cutting which I agreed. After suspension lift, they installed the wheels/tires and started alignment process.

The alignment guy couldn't get it aligned... I understand the rubbing and that requires cutting... I really like the look and would love to be able to keep the set up but I want to know if this will not work at all (with modification) and if I have to go smaller (275/70/17 or even 265).

Did you replace your Upper Control Arms? I'm guessing no, and it's likely Caster or Camber they couldn't get right.

Agree with fajitas21. If you have stock UCA you probably don't have enough adjustment to get it back to factory specs. I was talking to my tire guy two days ago and he said with 5100's on the middle clip he should be able to get it back into spec with factory UCA and he would try to get the caster as close to 4 degrees as possible to take away some of the "twitchyness".

I'm curious how the 6112 do after you get the alignment done. How's the nose dive, handling ect... The stock tire on the trail is 265/70/17

Nose dive will be less, handling a little firmer, less body roll. Probably 2.25" - 2.5" of lift.

3" lift but mostly all stock not a scratch on it it is pristine condition amazing for being 19 years old.
you are going to have to change your control arm. or like you said go to a smaller 265 75 17 but you will lose the look you were after. have to make compensation or build it right with all the aftermarket parts you need to do it right. LARRY B

    That's a really clean looking 4Runner.

How has the RTT held up on the stock roof rack? No issues at 75MPH?

No problem at all. Been doing 70-80mph (legal speed limit in central and western states) all along. Also very comfortable ride, I was always worried if I would be disappointed but I'm very satisfied.

I actually wanted to put up a Frontrunner slimline 2, but then I realized that my tent would cover 90% of the rack so I just went with Thule simple bars for now.

Yea, I'm mounting my RTT on a small trailer I'm building, but I'd like to avoid aftermarket racks considering $1000+ for a rack to mount my already $1000 RTT seems a bit fierce.
