I'm sure it's one here somewhere but cant seem to find it. Can a 1" spacer be installed on the front of a sr5 without taking out the strut?

I thought I read somewhere it could be done by unbolting the sway bar ends and taking the upper and lower shock/strut bolts out. Than you can just slip the spacer in.

    Thanks!

Not to sure on the Cornfed stuff, but we have our 2.5 front leveling spacers from Daystar that slap right on top of the factory coilover no problem at all!
    Super easy install!

Here's a link for the kit - DM me if you have any questions! :fistbump:

Not sure about the 1inch spacer. But 1/4 inch spacer that gives 1/2in of lift needs to be dropped on top of the strut and use provided bolts.

@2016 4Runner SR5 Chris does the 1in one works the same way?

Yeah I believe it works the same way. Maybe my description of install isn't great. The spacer goes on top of the strut and uses the 3 factory studs to mount back into the vehicle. I'm just wondering if you can unhook the sway bar ends, unbolt the strut assembly then use a pry bar to make space and slip the spacer in.. If that makes any sense..

Both the above are correct. Jack and support the vehicle's front end off the ground. Remove front wheels. Remove the 3 nuts from the upper strut mount. Push down a little on the LCA to slide the studs out of the holes. Clean debris off of upper spring mount and strut mount. Install the plate and reassemble in reverse order and torque. Do the other side. Reinstall wheels and lower back to terra firma and enjoy! Recheck the torque after about 100 miles or so. It really is that easy...

Anything placed on top of the shock assembly is a 2:1 ratio. 1/2” thick equals a 1” lift.

I meant to ask if the install is same for 1in as well?:) Just drop the spacer on top and use the bolts that comes with the package?

Just checking because some of the spacer kits (like ReadyLift) need the strut completely out and spacer block tighten to the strut and spacer block is the one tighten to the strut mount. Just wanted to double check for OP's Cornfed 1in kit does not need that. Just drop in to the strut just like the 1/4in spacer I got from you.:):)

Lower the strut, drop the spacer on top, use the nuts provided. Factory studs are long enough for the 1/2” thick spacer.
