I don’t know about the plain Jane steel wheels. I think this Bronco looks awful with these wheels as an example. Thankfully Toyota did not go this route

I guess they won’t have to worry about those wheels getting stolen

I already have black T4R Pro wheels on my Tacoma but will keep the stock wheels on the SR5P. I considered changing them when we first bought the 4runner but the longer I have them the more I like them.

This is EXACTLY what I'm looking to do with my stock SR5 wheels. Did you keep the dipped ones? Also, what did you dip them in, and how does that work? Does it last pretty well? Thanks!

OP - That one isnt mine, and they wont see your question unless you use the @ to tag someone. That pushes a notification to the user. @Steely123

Here's that bronze/red example with a good explanation.

I have an MGM and it came with snowflakes and I could not wait to get rid of them. Sold them on FB for $200 within a day or two.

Now I have the new style Pro wheels and am much happier.

LOL, wow yeah forgot all about these wheels. I got rid of the snowflakes and got the OR wheels about a year ago. Still dipped those black, but above statements are correct............powder coat is the more permanent and costly solution. I used plastidip, but used well and correctly it will last forever and you can change colors when you get a wild hair. And I cannot wrap things that well.

To answer the other question, no these are long gone. I sold them locally on FBM for about 200$

It's funny how those black steel wheels keep getting shipped back and forth across the ocean to and from Japan...I wonder if they'll continue that practice on the next gen 4R...

I bet it’s the highest “distance-traveled” to “distance-rolled” ratio out there on tires.

(Except maybe some spares out there?)
