I thought you might be interested in seeing what Bud and his team at Budbuilt can do with a Limited trim.

I'll take photos of whatever you want to see and answer whatever questions you have.

Bottom line: this install would have taken me a month and I would be a broken man afterwards. Also, it wouldn't look nearly as good or work as well.

In one day I went from never having met anyone at Budbuilt to "I'm never taking my truck anywhere else."

That's high praise coming from me. I don't think I have high standards, but I'm just not satisfied until I have the best. Bud, if you ever read this, thank you for letting me watch excellence at work. You hit this one out of the park.

Love it...want to keep my ‘19 limited low key but functional up here in the PacNW...I’ll be calling to check things out...hopefully they’ll have a contact for an installer too...

Bud took lots of pictures. It was a pleasure watching him work. He should be able to send your local person a lot of helpful information. The 19 has less annoying tech and should be easier. Definitely post photos once you have it installed.

By the way, of all the things I've spent money on this one is definitely peace of mind and worth it to me.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the lead on the @budbuilt hidden winch bumper...Bud was great to deal with and the guys at the Overland Truck store garage, Kyle and Steve, got it in perfectly...went out the next morning to see it and saw this ;-p

Good looking install and nice recovery points. How'd you do the recovery points? I want to copy you.

For the limited 2019 and prior it has the cut outs - and recovery points. For 2020 and after it doesn't have the recovery points because the TSS thing and such means there isn't enough room.

Can you help me understand why the TSS above the Chrome FAUX bumper would mean that there won't be recovery points?
I have a 2021 Limited and specifically asked for the one with the Recover Points when I ordered today.
I don't see any difference in the front facia between the pre-2021 and the 2022 that you have, not where the recovery points are.

    I don't know.
My guess is the radar for the TSS would cause problems, but I don't actually know.

I asked Bud about it a while back and he said something about not enough room - so I'm very curious to see photos of your install and learn if the TSS operates as it should.

The TSS sensor is a fairly compact package behind the huge plastic rectangle. The recovery points are down low. Unless they somehow infringe on the space for the TSS sensor (unlikely), there should be no reason they wouldn’t work. Other trims with TSS end up with the recovery points in similar spots and a metal bumper with it and don’t have issues

Winch is installed, along with a 2"/1" Cornfed Lift (till X-REAS dies)
NO Issues with TSS and the Recovery Points, Thank Goodness.
40 miles driving since I picked it up last night and Adaptive Cruise Control works perfectly on the highway.
I thought I would hate the shackles and the orientation of the recovery points, but I am much happier than expected.

Looks clean! Really like it. I have a custom slimline bumper to throw on mine otherwise I’d get that in a heartbeat

Looks great. Thanks for sharing the pics. This will be my next and most likely only mod other than 17" rims and AT tires to my limited. I will probably leave the shackles inside the truck until needed. Does Budbuilt have dealers for installation?
