I know a lot of new pro owners are not happy with the trd pro exhaust, I'm actually looking for one. So who wants to trade their trd pro exhaust, for my oem exhaust plus cash on my end..

    Located in Central Pa 17042

I figured I give this a shot before I buy one

I traded my Pro exhaust for a stock one. Didn't like the drone or the sound. Someone will take you up on it.

I just swapped my trd pro muffler for the stock but kept the tailpipe. $200 for muffler with tailpipe flange only. Plus $50 shipping. Local pickup in nyc. Sorry to jack the thread but I can't post in marketplace yet.

My alternative to this is swapping the muffler with Magnaflow 12286, size is similar to the trd pro and sounds about the same if not 5-10% louder. Drove about 25 miles since the install, cant tell if there's drone yet but maybe have to be broken in.

I ended up buying a oem style stainless exhaust, I had the tail pipe bent, and swapped in a 19" borla muffler, sounds good, no drone what so ever, I only bolted in the muffler so I may try a 15" muffler (with and extension) to see what it sounds like. My previous vehicle was a 2016 with a jba catback, sounded fuckin great and was somewhat loud...so I don't mind a little drone

After the a year with the TRD Pro exhaust I got tired of the drone. I bought a new OEM one and installed it. My 1yo good condition TRD exhaust is for sale.
I had actually traded with someon
How did you get the TRD tailpipe to fit the stock OEM muffler? The TRD has a 3 bolt mount and the standard has a 2 bolt connection. Or are you saying someone do a custom fitting?

I also bought a used stock exhuast. The shop swapped the mufflers & cut the 3 hole flange off the trd pipe & the 2 hole flange off the stock pipe. We then welded the 2 hole flange to the trd pipe at the original weld seam. It looks like it is a factory piece.

Do you have any pics of the finished install? Im about to do that to my 2022 trail. The drone is getting annoying on every highway trip.

I think it would be easier to have the tail pipe bent.

I have the TRD side exit exhaust and would like to keep that and keep costs down.

I dont have any pics but the tailpipe stays in its spot. It cost me $100 to have the mufflers swapped & the tailpipe flanges changed. I don't remember what I paid for the stock muffler but it was worth it.
