5FEFDFA6-4394-4640-8104-AD1B187C2193.jpg Just wanted to give a recommendation to anyone wanting to protect their 4-Runner from their furry friends. We recently purchased the complete Ruff Rugs Cargo liner kit (including sides and hatch cover) along with the BPF Molle Panel to keep them in the cargo area. Both of these are high quality and work so well for our two large dogs (black lab and german shepherd). The cargo liner is so easy to wipe down, vacuum hair off of, and is a really thick well made product! The panel is also amazing quality as well. Ruff Rugs really went above and beyond with their customer service and helped us with any questions we had so did BPF! It’s definitely worth the extra money to have quality products that will last and hold up!

I never had the Ruff Rug for my 4 Runner, but now that I'm in a CRV I purchased one. It's a great mod. I will say I loved the Canvasback, but the Ruff Rug is better for dogs IMO. The reason being is the Canvasback is slick where the Rugg Rug is not. The RR is easier to clean as well.

Does a toy poodle count? She rides on the wife’s lap.

Seriously, good looking German Shepard. I always wanted one, but just not in the cards for me. :(

    Welcome to the forum, Ashley!

Ember will allow me to enter her 4Runner from time to time. She has cordoned off the driver's seat and allows me to sit there, but the front passenger seat and the rest of the truck she's claimed for her use.

I have a medium sized dog. She prefers to ride up where the action is, with her front feet on the cubby lid and her rear feet on the back seat.

What a coincidence, my wife and I just installed a cargo liner for our dogs too, but it's made by Hamilton. We haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but we're pretty happy with the fitment and quality of the material. Got it because our new pup is gonna be a big girl and will need the extra room. Also installed some roof racks for the displaced luggage/equipment.

I’m really happy with the flap down bumper cover we got that came with the Ruff Rugs system! It velcros to the main piece. You can get it in different lengths. SUPER cute GSD by the way!

We use this, dogs learned super quick. 80lb dog is the most we’ve used on it, but I can walk up it with confidence at 230. It has rubber feet at both ends, no scratches on the bumper at all. When folded up, it fits perfectly in the cargo net at the rear.

Oh yes. She has many Kongs, of different sizes, shapes, and colors. Some are hand-me-downs from my previous Mals and GSD's, but some are new to her, like this blue one.

PS- I like your screenname. One of the working GSD's I had for a bit was named Bodie. :)

OK, since this thread is about delve into a full-blown pup-bragging-fest (I don't think the OP will be offended lol), I'll include some of mine.

You've already met Ember, she's my current pup, a Mal from the Netherlands. She just turned 7 three days ago:

Ari was the love of my life. He was a Mal/GSD cross from the Czech Republic, and he lived to 14. He enjoyed a 5-year retirement following his 6-year career:

While I had Ari, I also had Vixen, a Mal from California, longer than any of my others, the entire 14 years of her life:

Before Ari, I had Thor, another Mal from the Netherlands, no relation to Ember. He was a sweetheart, and I regret I only had him a couple years before he died:

Taylor is a very well-behaved Mal that I only got to foster for a few months. He's still living, and whomever has him now has a phenomenal pup:

Bodie is a GSD that I fostered for a few months and never warmed up to. I'm not a fan of unpredictable dogs, and that's what he was. He went on to get hired at a local agency:
