3inch lift from toytec, 275/55/20 k02 bfg, airaid intake.
Just wanted to share my stock 2016 4runner limited to the couple of modification that where done. Was really worried at first about the lift being to tall and the warranty being voided, however after speaking with toyota dealership, my mechanic and the individual from toytec they assured me everything will be fine as long as i dont go over 3 inches. As far as the hight i think its perfect and sits good.

Thank you for getting rid of the stock tires/wheels after lifting it. IMO, 17's with the 265/70 street treads and a lift looks weird. I prefer more tire than wheel (ideally 16's with 285/75's), but the new tires and wheels you got really pull it together.

You got a good lookin' rig!

I have the same car, 16 4Runner Limited and planning to change the tires/rims this week. I really want to do the 3" OME lift with 275/?/17 all terrain tires. After reading and talking to people, learned that the ride quality will change drastically so a lot of people telling me to do a level and change the tires and rims unless planning to do a lot of off roading where is rocks and need more clearance.

What are your thoughts and experience?
Are you satisfied with the ride and handling? How rough is the ride?

I'm planning on doing the modifications this week so any advice or suggestion is appreciated.

I love the way my truck handles, i think the ride feel and handling meet or exceeds my expectations. I love having the confidence of doing some off roading without worrying about clearance. I would recommend this exact lift to anyone who wants a little more more from their truck. Not to high and not to low, just right in my opinion. You will notice some light rubbing when backing up but nothing that tear anything off. Post pictures of your ride and good luck.

FYI your actual ground clearance "lift" is less than 1/5 of an inch.

    245/60 20 (OEM) is 31.57"
    275/55 20 (your replacement) is 31.91"

Difference in diameter is 0.33", half of that is 0.165", which is how much higher the lowest part of the truck sits from stock.

So you can now drive over stuff that is 2 stacked dimes higher than what you could before.

I dont recalled the exact number in inches but i measured before and after from ground to the bottom of the truck and it did increase. Maybe thats not the proper way to measure but i feel i have alot more clearance then before.

Well, you have more space in the wheel wells. You have more approach angle at the front and slightly more at the rear now. But actual "ground clearance", which is the distance between the lowest point on the undercarriage (which is the rear diff, generally) and the ground will only have increased by the amount of height increase granted by the new tires. So if the new tires are, for example 1" taller than the old ones, then the truck will have 1/2" more ground clearance (because half of the tire height is above the axle).

So your truck sits higher with the lift but the actual clearance is basically the same.
