I was having some intermittent electrical issues after the sunroof leaked from clogged drains. Dealer said there was some corrosion on the main wiring harness and applied dielectric grease to prevent further corrosion. Issues came back a couple of months later and the dealer wants 6K to replace the entire harness (part no. 82141-35Y30). Is there a way to clean the corroded connections in the wiring harness without replacing the entire thing?

There are many electrical contact cleaners out there to do this..but I have heard the best is the Deoxit products.

That being said here a video on that product line as well as others and how to use them.
