You could look at it this way - you got a custom, one-off MillerCat shield. Now you don't have to worry about getting that 'first scratch'. You're miles ahead!

More like a scratch from a meth head in a mall parking lot trying to cut it with a recip saw.

Sorry op. That sucks - Cali Raised, RCI & Relentless products do not arrived scratched. Best packaging I’ve ever seen is Relentless Fab

Glad I didn’t order the Millercat cat protector. I went with Rci. A little pricier but well worth it.

You've never been in a fab shop before. That's not how they work. When you buy a raw product, you are buying it "as is" with the intent of finishing it yourself. Besides, have fun trying to CNC metal material with plastic on it. Guessing it makes a hot, melty mess.

    UPDATE: Installed.

But I'm getting a bit of a buzzing. I know it is secure. But the "ears" of the armor don't connect to anything. I think this is where the buzzing s coming from.

Of those who have installed this armor, what mods / corrections have you made to correct this problem?

No buzzing with mine, but I did notice when bolting on the two wings, they could be adjusted somewhat to clear things on both ends that could make contact. I'd crawl back under there and check out if either wing edge is making contact with a cross member or an angle brace.

Same with mine. No buzzing. I waited to do the final tightening of the wings until the connections of the main piece to frame were complete. Then made final adjustments to wings make sure there was sufficient clearance all around.
