Son just got home from college and I am sitting again my ‘10 Limited with 302,989 on the odometer. I put 290k on it and he the rest. It’s like putting on an old pair of jeans….

Nice!!! Daughter is driving my FJ home right now as well. Tell me you don’t feel calm with the safety these kids have around them in a Toyota!

My son drives my 2001 Tacoma with something over 200k. He got it at 16 and is 31. Still loves it.

Cool… my Honda was multicolored also! Started as a light Blue 82 Accord (72hp 5 speed) that my parents helped me buy senior year. Had 140k… I rear ended somebody in the rain one morning going to school, my dad and I rebuild it in the garage using parts from junkyard salvage and a little help from a auto shop friend who could weld the frame. Ended up blue with gray fenders and a maroon hood and I drove it that way a few more years till it rotted out.

    ahhh memories :)

My pre-Taco P/U went 327K before I sold it for $2500 in 1998-9. Took it to my mechanic for a pre-sale smog check and he got all p----ed off that I had sold it to someone else.

Every time we go to something else, we are dissatisfied! When we retired, we bought a used '19 SR5P 4Runner and a '14 RAV4 just so we'd have something we really dependable!

Aahhh....I took the bus home from college (it was 5 miles .....)
