My 02 4 Runner has a headlight mod from previous owner. He modified the stock housings to projector beams. The issue I'm experiencing is when I turn on the headlights sometimes only one or none will turn on. This is completely random as to which lights come on. I have to cycle the headlight switch and eventually both lights will activate. Once both are on they stay on. Anyone else ever encountered this problem?

Are they HIDs? If so yes I have, the ballast is prolly bad or failing. Swap ballasts and see if the problem swaps sides.

Ok. Yeah they are Morimoto ballasts. I'll give that a try. Thanks.

No problem. If you need replacements that are reasonably priced I've had good luck with HID kits from DDMtuning.com
