After almost 2 years with my Limited I'm finally starting some very light mods (17" wheels, xreas delete, 3rd-row delete), and changing the bumper look is high on my list of hopes. However, it's an expensive mod for my wallet so I'm wondering if anyone has advice to lower the cost. I've dug through all the details of 4runner forums and watched all the youtube videos I could find, and it seems like my best bet is just to keep an eye out for used bumper parts. Should I call body shops in my area to see if they have used parts? I'm actually leaning toward an SR5 look instead of the TRD, so maybe that will make it easier to find used parts? Also, if you've done a bumper swap I'd love any advice you have! Thanks.

Thanks for replying! yeah his transformation is the big one and I think I've read every word on both the one here on 4runner and other forum sites too haha. Even taken a deep dive through the dedicated facebook page for bumper swapping the limited ha. After all the diggin so far I'm still hoping to find a way to bring the cost down, but I might just be asking for the impossible or the answer is as simple just to wait for the used parts online.
