Yes, I will be going a 22" wheel next year after winder is over. Hard to find images with 22" on a 4 Runner. The few I saw look pretty good.

Funny thing, a couple of months ago I saw a Tacoma with very negative offset, tall low aspect wheels and tires. I think it was a work in progress because his turning was so bound up that he couldn’t make through the drive in at Chik-fila.
It was sad to watch as he tried to crawl over the curbs on each side.

I’m thinking I’ll get my (future) set powder coated black and use them for my winter tires instead of steelies.

Found the Michelin LTX Defenders I mounted on my OEM TRD rims to be way better than the stock Bridgestone H/T on my '22 for what I do mostly highway. No shimmy or shake at all. The stock ORP rims are 7.5" wide and the OEM TRD rims are 7" wide but didn't seem make a difference. I like both sets of rims on my truck. I like the bronze TRD on black but some of my friends prefer the stock ORP rims.

Only have about 5000 miles on them but so far I like them a lot. Haven’t really been off-road with them yet. Obviously they have been around a while so you can find all kinds of reviews. Lift shop that installed them had psi at 75, once I dropped that down around 50-55 they rode so much better.
