secondary air injection system on 5th gen 4runner

hi! new to the group. Anybody here ever had an issue on their 4rs with secondary air injection system switching valve B Circuit open? mine is a 2016 limited. Can not find anything specific to a 4runner and 4L engine. TIA

Or, on t4r.org, @slyfox75 should still make a kit. Dealer fixing it would be stupid money

 

nothing yet. It is actually a code P0146. I checked the Gen II bypass kit that Hewitt tech was offering and it was not on the list of codes that it typically addresses.

 

Isn't that an O2 sensor code?

 

Yes, Secondary Injection Valve failed. Mine was passenger side (I believe it is B). Easy replacement, repair manual has that (search this forum for RM link). 30 min project $180 part. about 4 years ago. There was some rust in it. G.L.

 

Wondering if dealership has replacement foam filters for the Air Injector.
