    Hello Everyone
I am new to the 4Runner life, or at least will be. I have always been a truck guy, but thought I would give the 4Runner lifestyle a try. I do have a question for all of the seasoned owners. Im looking at a 2021 TRD ORP with 36k miles. Is this “low, high, or average” for a 2021 4Runner? Asking $40k. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

I would say average use of a vehicle is 10-15k a year?
40k seems a bit high but the price of used cars is nuts right now so that might be right. I know a lot of guys were trading in for about what they bought for a year ago so....

Where is the car located, condition, etc. will play into price as well.

    IMO 36K miles is nothing for a 4runner. I don't think I would pay $40K for 2021 when I can get 2023 (with more features) for $45K.

Great advice. The one I’m looking at is located in Orlando.

I agree with you and see what you’re saying. But even at 45k you will be over 50k after all the taxes, fees, etc. I have an offer for $25k trade in value for my truck which is crazy considering that’s more than I paid for it 5 years ago. . I can get the 40k 4Runner for 27k OTD. Just wasn’t sure about the mileage

my 2019 had 35k on the odometer when I bought it from my favorite 'no haggle" joint in Gainesville. This place generally gets fleet/rental vehicle, maybe that's the case with the one you're looking at (?). but like the others said, 36k is almost zero miles especially for the 4Runner, as long as it's had an oil change or two.

    Welcome from SoCal…

How does 40,000 less 25,000 = 27,000 OTD? Is tax & license that much in Orlando

Thank you. You make some great points. I’ll make sure to take a look at the maintenance history

It’s insane. The markup on these 4Runners is 5-10k (per a car salesman friend of mine). I initially disqualified anything without KDSS…but I have come to My senses lol. Finding a decently priced KDSS is like finding a needle in a haystack. The top 4Runner is what I’m looking at. The bottom is how it will eventually become. Lol
