My original cluster glass was scratched up and stained with cleaning products from the previous owner. I got two of this instrument cluster glass from my local junkyard. I’m selling the second one as I got it as a spare, now its just sitting at my office. Selling it for what I got it for at $15 and free shipping via FedEx. It’s in great condition and it will fit any 4runner from 2014 to 2019.
The glass is $40 at my local dealership as reference.

 

You should get screen protech they make a film that goes on to protect it. Makes it easy to clean and doesn’t show fingerprints. They also make one that comes with a screen protector for the T9 Cartrim home.

How much is for the screen protector? I haven’t had any issues with my current glass. I dust it off when necessary and no issues at all. I think the biggest problem is when people start cleaning them with some products etc. I heard some screen protectors will turn yellowish over time but not sure what company brand.

 

Its 77 CAD. I bought it for my Tacoma more for the dash screen. The cluster was just a bonus. I’ve heard from others it helps to hide scratches that might be on it already. I really like it on the dash screen. No fingerprint mess and cleaned easily without scratching it. When I get a new T9 head unit I’m going to get it again.

 

Nice! How long have you had it on for? Can you post some pics for me? I would like to add a screen protector to my pioneer head unit as well.

 

Are they hard to replace?

 

Not at all. Just push clips through the plastic and it comes straight out.

 

Do you have to disassemble the dash to get the old one out?

 

Not at all. Everything is held by clips and pulls right out. Once 1,2 and 3 are pulled you will see the 4 screws for the cluster. Picture below as reference for what need to be removed.

 

Will it fit a 2020?

 

I’m not sure, I know it will fit 2014 to 2019. Although the 2020 model looks identical, I can’t guarantee 100% fitment.

 

I sold my Tacoma with it. No pics unfortunately. I’m sure they have tons on their instagram.

 

Unfortunately looks like a different part number. Not sure what the difference is...

 

Yeah, that’s why I only posted the fitment for 2014 to 2019. Unless someone else can confirm fitment for 2020 and up. The newer cluster has different display functions, but the glass shape remains the same. It would be good to know regardless.

 

Man, I thought this cluster glass was going to sell quickly with the amount of people having issues with their current one. Lol
