Ok.... I am new to this forum.
    I have a 2021 4Runner TRD off road
Bought this new summer of 2021.
Current mileage is 38.000 Klm or approx 20,000 miles.
While coming back home yesterday I noticed
there was something NEW on my dashboard screen.
Normally I have the screen with average fuel consumption which I believe is
    the home screen.
Anyway .... I just happened to glance down and notice I had a display which
I have never seen.... but the time I got my eyes to focus on it the screen went
back to the normal original screen.

Any idea's on what this could be...?

Anyway to recall messages that pop up on dashboard screen?

Maybe something like Lane departure alert or message that Lane departure doesn't work on low speed?

We were driving at Highway speeds
I have lane alert off since I have owned the vehicle.

I am curious to know if there is a way to replay what was on the
    display.

There are numerous other "screens" that will appear, then disappear in the center of your gage cluster without you having to do anything. Off the top of my head, here's a few:

    - GPS information - if you're using the factory GPS to navigate
    - Vehicle speed information - if you're using cruise control and you come up on a car in front of you
    - Collision avoidance warning if you approach a car in front of you too quickly

Thank you for the info..... I will google
and see what other screens can pop up.
I am familiar with the ones you have mentioned but
this particular one that I saw was one I had never seen before.

Well, you do have a point. But if he reads the owner manual then he will know what all of the possible messages / screens possible that could be displayed.
