I love it too!! I’ve been looking for pictures of a black one, this is the first one I’ve seen.
I placed a reservation for a black 40th with my dealer a month ago so it’s awesome to see them out there.

Shouldn't the 40th Anniversary have the best of all 40 years, i.e. suspension, lockers, etc., heck, even a manual transmission for that matter, instead of some decals and seat stitching?

The decal is not good. I hate decals on anything really. Like all the Fords with the 4x4 shit on the sides. Why do people leave that on? Looks so bad.

And honestly I don’t even like the lettering in the sides of 4R’s either, but at least it’s small and sort of subdued compared to a lot of other vehicles.

I prefer a clean look. But I guess to each their own.

I would not even think twice about trading in my 22 for a manual transmission. Color might not even matter.

I saw one at the Overland Expo in Redmond, OR this summer. WEAK!!!!!!!

Those lines should be painted. They will look like crap in short order.
Should have the manual 4WD stick, not the silly dial.
    Lockers for sure.
Didn't get a look at the suspension but it should be at least on the TRD Pro level. Doubt it is....
