Another old thread revival! That's 7 years of good luck!

I just hope Toyota is ignoring anyone who wants to turn the next generation into a crossover. Honestly, they should make it more off-road oriented than it already is since they have the Highlander for the soccer moms.

Less electronics. Not a money pit like the latest Mercs and Bemmers after factory warranty- Just my two cents.
    Ancient though. Lolz

Get a rav4 hybrid. I wouldn't trust first year of the 6th gen. Unless you offroad there is no need for a 4runner too many cons. Only reason I have one despite the long list of cons is because I can count on it to get me deep back country and back. Otherwise if I didn't do that it would be a bad car for me.

    If I didn't off-road, I'd be looking at a RAV4, Highlander, or RX. :)

Looks like the new 4 runner is trying to compete with the new bronco which is lame if the renderings are close. I would rather have the 2022/2023…granted it doesn’t have paint, differential, or shimmy issues.

Some of the renderings are definitely ugly!

But, I have nothing against them competing with the Bronco. It shouldn't be hard, if Toyota actually tries.

Removable top, and the ability to fit 35's without hacking the shit out of it? Yes, please!

Most certainly curious to see how this 2024 or 2028 is going to be lol…I hope they don’t mess it up. I can honestly say I like the looks of the new tundra and sequoia better then past models. I am a whore for old boxy style vehicles and love they made them that way. Not like other brands that are smooshing everything down and making them look weird. Cough cough Tahoe.
