What other year 4Runner front seats will bolt directly into a 1989 4Runner?

None as far as I'm aware. Most Toyota seats match up 2 or 3 bolts only. I usually just cut off and weld the old feet to the new seat.

Hello! I actually just bought my first 4runner. 89 model and it had aftermarket seats. Didn't like them so I found a great set out of an 86 and they fit perfectly. Same bolt holes and all. Hope that helps.

This is what I did in my first gen, except I took the entire rail off and welded to the seats I was swapping in. Had Civic SI seats for awhile and then swapped to a leather race style seat. I've heard second gen seats ( not the 60/40 style) are a near swap only needing to re drill one hole but I can't confirm it.
