    Or would 265-60 17inch BFG’s be a better option?

I’m using search engine. Looks like the 65s are an inch wider.

265/70 r16 is the stock size 31 inch on 16 inch wheel.
    265/70 r17 is a step up to 32 inch on a 17 inch wheel.

    same overall size as a 265/75 r16.

I guess offset will play a roll.

You can run 32’s on stock suspension with no rubbing.

I’m sticking with a 16 inch rim so I can just swap out my Coopers from my stock rims.E5555466-2762-4F83-B32B-F24488C46F11.jpg

Looks like this is the only rim available in 16 inch 0 offset.07774A6B-D766-4CCE-A6F2-BF42E39598FD.jpg

I need a 106mm bore. The best bang for the buck I can find is Vors. 6BF8DBD5-DDB2-4F43-B97D-83C127AA2FC4.jpgThey are $160 each shipped.

Suspension changes do not add the ability the run a larger tire.

If you look at your vehicle's geometry, yes...if you were lifted, a taller tire will fit (stationary) but once your suspension cycles while driving, that lift wouldn't have mattered.

If a 32" tire fits without rubbing on a lifted rig, it'll fit on a stock height rig.

With that said, most 32" will fit. I ran a skinny 33" and it fit with the most minor rubbing (front passenger scraped the inner wheel well on nearly full stuff).

I'd suggest 16" for that larger sidewall.

It’s just a “tapered” lug nut. These rims will stretch my Coopers out an inch.

I found another pic of the Vors wheels. A lot lighter than the advertised pic.2ABB21E5-85FB-4044-BE37-5BE12802CE24.jpg

These conical lugnuts will not work on my spare? So I’m gonna have to keep six with my Jack. And the funky adapter socket for the new ones.

These look just like my ROH’s on the Z28 except 6 spokes.

These rims change color in natural light. They get darker.

It’s not the paint that is matte. The rims are machined with texture except the inner ring.

Almost reminds me of stained/polished concrete I used to do. Like a “wheat” but then it changes darker.

Five bucks says the cheap lugnuts fail and a wheel rolls off?

265/75/16, I had just minor trimming on the front, driver’s side, running board flare. Had a slight rub reversing. The tires are very quiet, well compared to my wore out Coopers that where down to the wear indicators. I can feel the A/T’s traction, a little wider stance, lower center of gravity. It’s a very smooth ride. The -15 offset puts the wheels almost flush with the flares. My rear was a little preloaded in this pic. E41CE069-C89B-4D76-8315-D498120C71BA.jpg

What happens when I hit a big bump while towing the boat? I don’t know, prob rip the fender flares off? I’m going to flex the suspension in my backyard.
