I have the opportunity to buy a set of Rays Gramlights 57DR-X 6x139.7
17x8.5 -10 Offset. My dilemma, is that I use my 4R daily and also use it for long highway trips with the family and I want the ride to be very comfortable. I know a lot has to do with the tires but I also want my 4R to look somewhat stock. I was planning to buy the Bridgestone Alenza Plus 265/70/17 as I had them before and love them. I don't want an aggressive look whatsoever with this rims as they are -10 offset but I haven't seen any 4R with these rims/tires configuration to judge fairly and pull the trigger on the rims. Some people have said they will stick out a lot and some has said they will look flush and nice on the 4R... very confusing.

Very hard decision and I don't want this opportunity to pass me by. Any help will definitely be appreciated and if you can post any pics will be much better as well.

They will give a pretty wide stance compared to a stock 4runner. If you have an SR5 they’ll be 1 wider, with -25mm offset in difference from the stock +15 wheels. If you want a stock look I’d stay with a positive offset wheel that’s not wider then 8”.

Yes they would look nice, by giving a more aggressive stance than OEM.

Thanks for the reply! I don't mind some stance as long is not overly wide but is hard to judge without having a good picture to go by. Do you think they will look flush with the fender?

I have -12 and the rears maybe stick out .5".

-10 will look great. If the deals good buy em

Trd pro wheels back spacing is 4.16"(17x7 +4)

With 17x8.5 -10 back spacing will be 4.36".

If I can only find a pic as reference it would be great.
