So neighbor came over yesterday asking me to jump his car. Only problem was he was pulled into his garage. He has push button start and since his battery was dead couldn't just put the car in neutral. It's a Buick and I was able to find out online where the bypass was and had to pry up his shifter console. So went to try and find out how I would do that on my 2020 4runner with push button start and I can't find any info on it. Does anyone here know how / where the bypass is located?

    Thanks,
    Jimmy

    All of them.
Little square/rectangular flap right beside the shifter. Lift that up and push the button with a pen or something that fits in the hole

Hmmm will have to look again as I didn't see any flap near the shifter. I saw on a Lexus on youtube had the flap but didn't see one on the Runner. Thanks.

In the 4Runner it’s under that little 1/2” x1/2” square. All automatics all have an emergency release for the trans.
