Definitely let me know about the black coated housings if you find good ones. Interested myself. Someone on the forum informed me that LED's for low beams are no good due to the design of the headlight. They recommended xenon depot 5000k so I'm looking into them.

Not exactly today but over the last two weeks. Got windows tinted, installed some running boards, and added a Maxfloormat rear cargo mat.

We used the standard smoke tint, its 20% on front two windows, 35% over the back factory windows, and added the 5% sun strip. The 35% over the factory tinted glass is close to 10% according to the guy that did it. Its also sitting in the shade so they look even darker, I'll try to take some pics when not in shade also.

I find the husky's to be of better quality and fit than the weathertech's. I didn't get the rear mat due to often needing my 3rd row for the kids. How do you like it?

We just dropped it in, but I like the feel of the quality. It also fits snug into the locations. We have Husky's in the Tundra as well and it has held up very well to the dogs, kids and our camping trips.

I have the Philips Standard H9 for low beams and the fogs are stock for now, saving for the 2in1 LED ones

Blacked out my emblems and installed my new bike rack. Headed out for a bike ride. Supposed to be near 90 degrees in Richmond, Virginia today. Nice.

Was going to obscure my license plate number on this pic but figured since everyone out on the road today and every where I go today and everyday can see my license plate number, it's OK if you do as well.

Finally managed to get some things done today! Had my 2016 now for two weeks. Upgraded to 275/70/17 KO2s and done some plasti dipping. Thinking of adding some spacers. Anyone have pictures or experience with 275s and spacers?

Much more to come, only other thing is a
I toyed around with a tutorial to make a steering wheel cover with 550 paracord, useful but I'm on the fence about it!

I'm interested in those KO2s as well. Are the tires rubbing on stock suspension?

Not at all. But that's with my sr5. I have heard with some of the other models that the 275s will rub. I've had no complaints on them so far, not any rougher ride and only lost .4 mpg.

Little plasti-dip gunmetal experiment to match the hood vent and factor 55 winch fairlead. Do you guys think I should roll with it or peel off? 20170430_124711.jpg 20170430_124615.jpg 20170430_124557.jpg

285/70/17 on stock suspension. Slight trimming of the inner edge on the front bumper and moved the wheel liner forward. No rubbing

    love it.

Will do, only been on here a few days and I'm gonna keep a record. I had a hard time deciding between KO2s and staying 265 or going barely bigger to 275, mainly because of the different load ranges. People seemed to be pretty set in the 275s being loud, riding horribly rough, and losing a great deal mpg. They are slightly loud but I have TRIED to get them to be "horribly rough". Just not buying it.

That's awesome. Wish I had been brave enough to go 285

I wasn't worried since I had a ToyTec Ultimate lift waiting to go in. Figured if it was real bad, lift would go in sooner. Lift is now in but it wasn't required, just like the look. Mine are E rated, still average 16.4 MPG with the AC on, rides awesome. Rides much better than the stock junk tires.

Same I think people just get it in their heads and can't get it out. I still ride the same I did. Glad I went with my gut.

Since you seem to like the blacked out look same as myself, look into the black out emblem kit.

I thought about that also but I figured this was more long term. Plasti is a pain to remove and start over if you get a little chip in it. Either way it looks good though. I also removed the SR5 badges on the C pillars, I hate chrome
