What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I had Toyo AT3 before I went to these. The tire size with the Toyos was stock size. I do have a BMC but that was done before I changed to this setup.

 

We did a regular waxing job today in preparation for Yellowstone next week. Driving from Houston all the way to WY.

 

Babys first bath. We picked it up on August 11th with 4 miles on the clock. A lot to learn...

That's a long haul. Drive safely and have fun. Wyoming is an amazing state, so much to see. If you get a chance, hop over to South Dakota and go to Wall Drug, Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse sculpture/museum.

Swapped to Method MR316 with Pirelli Scorpions AT+ in stock size. Wheel/Tires combos weighted 66.4 lbs on my bathroom scale. The stock ORP wheel with Dunlop's weighed 68.0 lbs.

Actually it was my Wife who wanted the LE. I did not care at for the OE 20” wheels, so I was able to source a set of Rock Warrior wheels, that made me feel better about it.

Then when we started talking about a build, only then did I realize the LE had a Torsen diff (score!).

It’s making the 4.88 break in a lot easier to manage . It’s almost a year to the day from inception to finale and yes, she’s a head turner now

 

Finished the Ironman FCP 3" / 2", now waiting on the bumper, after that level and alignment. Also looking for a good Wheel/Tire combo, but looking at all these rigs I have no idea how to decide

I am not a fan of the 20" wheels or the fascia on the Limited. But god damn man, that looks great.

 

I didn't realize the TRD Pros come in that new blue! Looks sick

 

Those are overlays, right? How easy was the installation?

Added a rear storage door that should've been oem. If anyone is interested I can post a link to the product. Two panels and a high quality push button. All that's required for installation is two self tapping screws that come with the kit

 

Done this a few years back. Well woth the effort and i agree, should be a factory part.

 

Not really easy, that's right comes wit water spray bottle and squeegee. Blow dryer plugged into rear outlet. Allows you to pull up and redo tho

 

Did a little interior mods to my shift boot.

 

Added Victory 4x4 dash mount
Rigid industries radiance light cubes
Ham radio
Rear lift
Switch panel and
A shit load of wiring

 

Oil change and Apex recovery points.
