    Hello from TN,
I am looking to install the Stage 1 Eibach kit on my 21 4Runner TRD ORP. The truck is stock as it sits and I plan on leaving the stock UCA's on. I have found several videos on it but have a couple of clarifying questions.

-Will I need any special tools for this, such as a certain type of torque wrench for the hard to reach areas or odd locations?

    - Should I mark the nuts/bolts after I torque them to check afterwards?

-Are there any special tricks or useful steps in making it easier for me, either for the front or rear installation process? Such as lifting the axle on one side during a certain time of the process in the rear.

The front parts have been pre-assembled already.
I will be taking my time and doing it in my garage, just trying to do it correctly.

    Thanks in advance.

Its pretty straightforward, take off old, install new the same way you took old stuff off.

You may need a spring compressor, jack stands, 2 jacks makes it easier. Take your time and follow the instructions that come with kit

Also make sure to retighten all bolts after 500 miles.

I did the that kit on my 2019 about 3 months after I purchased it. I took a chance and bought a cheap Harbor Freight spring compressor and lo & behold - it worked! Did front & rears with no assistance but did take me 3 days due to mandated old man naps.. I've been pleased with the product.

The only bolts you would need to mark beforehand is if you use the 'no spring compressor' method to remove the front shocks and coils. It requires loosening the cam adjust bolts on the lower control arms so you can lower the LCA after removing the bolts that attach it to the wheel hub. You use the marks to get the cam adjusters back to as close as possible to where they were when you retighten the cam adjuster bolts. It will need to be aligned anyway, so close is good enough. Should you use another method, ignore.

If the front shocks and springs are already assembled, no spring compressor is needed.

Quite true but look at the risks and inherent education he'd be missing..... :llama:

Thank you all. Yes, the front shocks and springs are pre-assembled.
