We bought our 2019 SR5 used. It was equipped for Sirius Radio but no subscription. Well, Sirius has a 3 month no-cost trial. Cancels in 3 months automatically!

Doing another trip down south to SoCal and we'll see how it does.

If you call to cancel once the free trial is done, they will usually offer you something like $30 for 6 months or $60 for 12 months.

That's what I hoping for. My wife's 21 Crosstrek had the free 3 months. They ended up giving us a year for I think $4.99/month.

Rest assured, once they have your name and address, they will be harassing you with offers for years to come. I’m still getting offers on a 10 year old Toyota to subscribe.

I've been a subscriber since their first year in business. I travel by vehicle a lot and its nice to have a constant connection to music. Everything has changed for the better. Programming is more consistent. Huge station lineup. I really only use it for Jazz, Classic rock and ESPNU. I don't care to listen to artists waxing history about shit thats been told 4,000x, but I guess people do.

The one thing that has not changed is the sounds quality. If anything, its gotten worse since they now have to spread more power across all of those channels. Many times I swear it is akin to AM radio.

I have had the script for almost year now when I got my 4R. I have 760 miles on the 4R so obviously don’t drive it much and getting first oil change soon.

But I keep Sirius for the app on the phone gosh for me I love it especially now working from home. So for the price of one script you can get the app for your phone and hook that up to whatever device you want.

If they only offered it in the vehicle I would cancel though.

I actually let our subscription lapse today. Last year I got a year for about $60 to $70. This year they wanted somewhere between $130 and $135 for the same subscription. That was the best offer I could wring out of them and I told them it wasn't good enough and to shut it off when it ran out today.

I'll probably get another $5 per month offer via email in a month or two. Honestly, I really don't care. The audio is not great, but it's good for listening to sports on the deck or in the truck...or on my phone when the power goes out around here.
