I just came back from a small run to the dump, where they weigh you before and after you enter. Not sure how accurate their scales are for true gross weight, but mine new 4R ORP came in at 2250kg. Take my weight out and it’s about 4,775 lbs. The only thing I’ve changed are the Dunlop tires to Toyo AT3 (still stock size). I also have just under a half tank of gas according to the gauge. And when I say my vehicle is new, I mean I’m still on my first tank of gas

Not sure what you're trying to say, from the factory the curb weight of your T4R should be 4750 lbs, so you're only off by 25 lbs, granted you need to add for the gas and I'm guessing the Toyo AT3s weight more than the Dunlops, and then you're thinking that the scales at the dump are dead on accurate, I willing to bet they aren't, sure they are accurate so they can figure out how much you hauled in but I'm guessing they aren't calibrated dead on zero before you get on them, all they need to know is the before and after weight difference, not EXACTLY what your vehicle weights after you unload.

Not sure what the point here is, but yep, they are big, heavy bricks. Especially when you add body armor, bumpers, winch, 700lbs of camping gear, roof wrack, molle racks, over sized or more aggressive tires, ya dude, they are heavy, and a good reason they get 15mpg with a head wind, and take 47 days to get to 70mph.

I still adore mine, and will keep it forever.

I was only asking out of curiosity, to see how it varies from light to heavy modified vehicles.

I haven't weighed mine, but I'm sure I'm well over 5,000# empty. If I ever get around to it, I'll post it here.

Some of the big time Instagram builds are probably pushing GVWR.
