Hey, crew. I’m trying to figure something out. I see both of these OEM running board options on recent model year trucks. The slimmer ones with holes along the top are listed as a current 4runner option as “trail” running boards on the Toyota site.

In an older thread I found a part number for the older, wider steps, but when I plugged it into google, I only see the newer, slimmer ones pop up. They appear to have the same part number.

So… are the older, wider ones no longer available and have they been replaced by the narrower version with holes?

Or are both options still available for purchase as new?

If you google search “4runner trail running boards” you’ll get the part numbers you’re looking for. I don’t want to quote one for you in case it’s not *exactly* what you’re looking for, as the part numbers vary depending on if it’s for the divers side, passenger side, or a set of both (they may or may not come with mounting hardware).

The mounting hardware has a separate part number, but not if you get it with the “set” of running boards.

But google the trail running boards and you’ll be on your way @Silversr5

I’m trying to get rid of the running boards from my brand new TRD Off Road. If you’re interested in picking them up for free, let me know…I’ve listed them here: https://offerup.co/tUELPR25hsb

Apologies, as I misread your post above… Now I realize you are looking for part numbers for the ones without holes along the top. So am I. That’s what spurred me into starting this thread (my reason being outlined in the first post).

I have the running boards without the holes if you're interested on buying them. It's coming off of my 2020 ORP
