[SOLD]: ARB twin compressor [never installed]

I tend to over-buy and over-build. Needed on board air for my 2022 for the occasional air-up of tires and airbags and didn't want to buy the single compressor now and upgrade later so I went for the ARB twin compressor. After lots of research I settled on the SLee under-hood mount.

Finally got all the pieces this week and started the test-fit. It doesn't. The fuse boxes on the 20+ are large and the orientation of the dual compressor causes the filters to overhang the fuse box. I really wanted the twin compressor but given the limited use I can't justify creating issues with accessing the large fuse box if/when I needed.

Hate to do it but I'm selling the twin so I can buy a single. I've done a couple test fits but it has never been powered up and never been fully installed. Note the factory caps and the plastic film.

Included: CKMTA12 compressor, both wiring harnesses, switch, screws, installation guide, filters. Basically everything you'd get in the box, minus the box.

Retails for nearly $600 but I'll let it go for $450, cash or Venmo. Local pickup (San Diego area) STRONGLY preferred and will be considered before shipping. If shipped, buyer pays shipping and packaging costs (I'm already taking a bath on this, I can't absorb packaging and shipping costs on top of it).

Well I had no problems on my 2020. Just put it in a different spot with a different mount. The dual is way better than the single and my wife has the single in her car. It is what I use to use before I got the dual.

Oh and yes that is a 1 gallon air tank and I can run pneumatic tools.

 

What mount did you use on the passenger side for the compressor and tank ?

 

I used the M.O.R.E. mount and tank…

Thanks, @GrantA . I'm aware I can run the dual on the passenger side but have plans for a second battery there. Single actually suits my needs as I'll never run 35+ tires and won't need air tools offroad. Planning to add an air tank down the road although location is TBD - for my Tacoma it was mounted to the underside of the bed but not sure where it might fit on the 4Runner.

 

I have seen people do it under the seats and in the cargo space in the back. Just get a little longer power source to the rear. But I understand your predicament. Would have bought that off you in a heartbeat.

I assume you are also trying Facebook marketplace or other platforms like offer up. It seems to be a hit or miss on this platform depending on what is being sold.
