Go here and Read a little Just skip the Oiled Filter or if you really really want to deal with the Oiled Filter get the K&N one

    https://www.4runners.com/threads/cool-air-intake.9956/page-2#post-96250

Also you can go to Bam Whole Sale to get the Parts too like I did and I still Like it well, Plus Bam wholesale parts has everything in stock for less than anywhere

    Part numbers needed:

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Avoid K&N, this test show they are very POOR filters. They flow well but terrible at
    filtering.
K&N filter is included in this test comparison

I like Fram air filters and want to give Wix a try next.
True, I was not a fan of K&N since my 4Runner is not a sports car. I need filtering over high air flow for performance.

All 4runners already have a cold air intake ,.. all them.
They pull air from the exact same area.

Edit- aka, you already have one. If ya want the "pro" version, that is cool, i bought one also,.. but its sitting in my shed, ... i may or may not put it in. I dunno.

There are those who say don't do it and those who say do it, I say it is Your Rig You Do what You want to it.... I been doing that to Every single Truck, Car, SUV and Boat that I have owned or currently own Just take time to do research on How and what and use common sense, Below is the More Recent Mods

2018 TRD Pro Tacoma with TRD CAI and Redline struts for the Hood with Eibach Pro Lift kit MESO Customs LED Map and Dome Lights, 2007 FJ Cruiser All Pro Bumpers front and back, TRD CAI, Eibach Pro Lift Kit, Badland Winch, 2007 Tundra with Bilstein shocks, TRD CAI and have not decided what's next. 2000 SLK Benz Bilstein Shocks, Double size engine oil cooler, 2007 Phantom 200Hp Sports Jet boat Cold Air Intake Pipes custom exhaust pipes, and last but not least 2020 TRD Pro 4 Runner with TRD CAI, Eibach Pro Lift Coil Spring Set, Ditch Lights, MESO Custom LED Map and Dome interior Lights with More to come.

Why do all this? because it is Fun to Do and Personalize.

Its your rig, do what you want. However, Ive said it before, it is by far and away the most expensive horsepower to dollar ratio upgrade there is. 10hp? Ya, like you'll notice the difference. Now for mall crawlers, its essential kit.

Highly doubt it even gives that. Its the same location as the OEM set up. Exactly the same.

But is loses the resonator and provides a non tumbling airflow compared to the non TRD OEM setup. There is a dyno sheet showing its benefits. Of course adding a TRD exhaust and a custom dyno tuning adds benefit as well... but at a ridiculous cost to benefit ratio. Save your pennies and supercharge it.

It's about 3-5 extra horses right before redline.

So, roughly the same as a weather change, dyno irregularities, or even just different dyno runs, and what not. And, only at redline, not down low, where a least i want it.
    10-4 bro.
Here's the comedy with me involved here, is (i dont know if you read avove or not) i have a complete kit, from appetite to asshole,.. sitting in my garage, and has been waiting there for 6-9 months lol. And ya, ill probably chuck it on. Maybe.

The annoying Pro exhaust and the ugly roof rack is the reason we went for the ORP.

You can get anything sent to Kalifornia, you may have an issue with emissions depending on where you live.

Anyone have any issues after installing? Some say the resonators may do something besides dampen the sound.
