I know a lot of people use Lucus oils, or Amsoil or Royal purple, but has anyone used Valvoline for their gear oils? its been 30K and I searched a few places to get those top three, but they seem to out of them. What's everyone's thought on this product, I just want to do the rear oil, it says it has what is required.

Used Valvoline on two Blazers and a Trailblazer over the years. put at least 200k miles on each vehicle with zero differential issues. I'm no engineer, but if it can keep anything on Chevy from breaking down it'll probably make a Toyota bulletproof.

I’ve used valvoline gear oil and had no problems at all with it. I can’t state if it’s better or worse than anything else out there tho. It does the job.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.

I've used it in the past, the axle didn't blow up, haha.

When I last changed mine, I used a combination of Super tech full syn and Mobil 1, due to availability.

I’ve done the diffs and t-case 9 times so far with Valvoline 75-90 synthetic for most of them and Mobil 1 for a couple. No problems.

I just did my gear boxes using Valvoline full synthetic 75-90.

The bags made adding the oil sooooo easy and much less messy.

Did Valvoline in the rear. Need to do the T-Case and Front diff soonish. Just didn’t have enough from the last time I went.

Just like engine oil, any off the shelf oil of the correct viscosity will work just fine.
