Just now starting to build out my new to me 2019 TRD Pro and will be posting some details of the mods as they get added. My wife and I lived in a roof top tent on top of our 2007 FJ Cruiser TRD for two years driving the Americas and over time I added lots of auxiliary power features so I plan on doing some of the same things to my 4Runner. This week I will be installing a dual battery system with a REDARC charger (designed by Off Grid Engineering), a Blue Sea Systems accessory panel, a 100W HQST Solar Panel, and a fuse panel tray designed by PowerTrays. Today I mounted the HQST solar panel to the roof rack and will be posting more detailed pictures of how I run the wiring, how I mounted the panel, etc. Looks pretty good up there!

Is that a 2020 TRD Pro Roof Rack? or an Ebay knock off?

+1 on the anticipation. I'm also looking into some aux power in the rig, although the application will be more casual compared to yours in the FJ.

It is the stock rack, they first introduced them on the 2019.

Would love some more information on mounting the solar panel. I'm using the same roof rack but have a RENOGY RNG-100D-SS and currently have it mounted in a southern engineering form and it works...BUT...I want something cleaner. Thanks!

What kind of brackets for the front did you use to hold the panel?

Any updates on this or the type of mounts you used? Thanks.
