Just wanted to say Hi here as I enjoy hanging out on forums and this one seemed
friendly with good forum software. I am sure you all know what the stock 4Runner looks like but I imagine there can never be too many pictures.

This is the TRD Off Road Premium with KDSS. I was looking for the base TRD OR but the extra equipment is nice to have. And I sure am happy with the heated seats in these cold winters.

Not for now, just going to use for exploring the backroads of Michigan and Northern Ontario. A rooftop tent would be nice so I amy look into that. But first have to get familiar with the 4Runner, see what it can do and figure it if I want it to do more.

Welcome aboard. I'm an old (84!) Ontario boy so I hope you'll enjoy your trips to northern Ontario. I drove a lot of off-road miles there when I was in the army but I'm sure things have changed a bit since 1957! Good luck and be sure to keep the rubber side down! - Ted

You're not old, just more experienced than others. I don't think much has changed in northern Ontario in the last 100 years! :)

The area around Lake Superior is beautiful and so many places to explore. This 4Runner will take me further than my car. Great for camping as well. One of my favorite roads is along the lake from the Soo to Wawa, then go inland to Chapleau and back south again. I am planning to go back to the Chapleau Game Preserve for some exploring. I did it on the motorbike once but that's already 8 years ago. https://nordwulf.wordpress.com/2009/05/26/motorcycle-trip-chapleau-crown-game-preserve-ontario/

Some day you'll have to get out to British Columbia and tackle the roads and off-roads up to the Yukon and Alaska. It is spectacular country and on one trip you can see lynx, black bear, grizzly bear, wolves, moose, elk, bison, deer, mountain goats, mountain sheep, and you name it. They're all here. At '84 years of age I stay closer to home now, but there are some great off roads around here too. Still, I'll never forget our trips north.- Ted
