I am looking to buy my wife a SR5 Premium model. Basically the only additional feature we want since it already has leather is a sunroof. I've been quoted right around $35k before tax, tag, etc. at one dealership. We live in Georgia if that matters. Just curious what other people are paying for a similar model.

Sorry if there is already a thread like this out there...I used the search feature and didn't find anything. I am also a member on Tacoma World as I drive a Tacoma. Newb to this site but not Toyota's!

Not the same trim, but I paid $45,818 which includes tax, title, and licensing for my 2016 TRD Pro in Virginia.

35k is about right as I worked for a very reputable dealer about 30 min south of Atlanta. There is not much discount on the 4runner ever its one of those vehicles that sells either way. I wouldn't expect much more than 2500-3000 off sticker.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
$40,050 there really is no negotiating as they had to trade stock to even get what I wanted in from 2 states away. I did pretty well on the trade in so that definitely helped.

I payed about 33k before tax for my SR5. I bought it through Costco, may want to look into that option.

No just regular SR5. They never even asked to see mine. I just emailed the dealer and said, this is the Costco price. Can You meet or beat I t? You should look up the invoice price for the T4R you want and email every dealership in your area. Ask them how close to that price they can get. Once you get a response take the lowest price, make sure you get a written quote showing exactly what you want. Send that quote to all the dealerships again. Keep doing this until you get a 1 dealer to give you the best price you can get. Also don't pay for any of the extra crap they will try to tack on. You should be looking at the cost of what you want + any accessories or options you want + tax + doc fee + licensing fee. That's all you should pay. No need for a $500 key replacement plan or any other BS. I just used this process to buy a TRD Pro Tundra. I had to email 30 dealers to get the right deal, but I'm getting the truck below msrp.

I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium which i have purchased 6 months ago. Price of it was 41,000. I spent 2 days negotiating with them and brought it down to 36,000. After all taxes and the additional features (3rd row seating, chrome exhaust tip, running boards. that it with which i had no control of, it ended up being 40,000 still.

I can't even get a number from Costco because it ask for a login username and password before I can even look at pricing.

Got my '17 T4R TRD Offroad Premium w/ KDSS for $38,900 but it involved emailing and talking to every dealership in a 400 mile radius for 3 weeks and I ended up buying it in AZ and driving it back to CA. I worked off the Costco price and True Car price to get there. Register a fake email address with yahoo or Gmail, sign up for true car and put in for a true car price and a Costco Price (if you don't have a Costco membership, borrow someone's membership #. They don't look up the name or email, just the membership # and they don't really care. It's a quick sale for them). Get "quotes" from all the dealers in that geographic area and then present the next lowest bid to each dealer until they won't go any lower. Be polite but be firm and don't be afraid to walk/email/get off the phone. You should be able to get a good deal, which worked out to about invoice for me (but obviously they must be getting factory kick backs, hold backs, etc to do that)They still dinged me with a $400 doc fee but still ended up being well below the true car average. Stand your ground and be patient and you'll get the price you want.

I just purchased a new (leftover) 2016 SR5 - sticker was 36,400 my "internet price" was dropped by 4K to 32,400. They had two identical in stock and I'm since they are '16's they were trying to dump them... I'm in Mass.

Traded a '15 Wrangler JKU on our Canadian 4R Trail new in Sept '16, fitted with sun roof, Goodyear Duratracs, and all mod cons. All up it was $47,800 Cdn, about $37,000 US. plus the usual taxes. We love it! - Ted

That's some serious dedication and work you put in! I do not have that kind of patience or dedication when it comes to car buying.
With that being said I paid 42k for a '17 T4R TRD Offroad Premium w/ KDSS and moonroof.

That is a great deal. Where do you live?
I've started shopping for a 4R for my wife. Looking at either SR5 premium or OR premium. I'm in Colorado, and it seems prices are about $38k-$40k.
Oh and also, I'm looking for one with the 3rd row seating...sure seems that is tough to find in my color choice.

I am in Illinois - the primary buyers aren't looking for the model I bought so the dealer was more flexible with pricing to open stock space up for SR5's and Limited's. Got lucky and stuck to my bottom line.
3rd Row seating is only available in the SR5, SR5 Prem. and Limited Models

Ah, that makes sense why I couldn't build a OR Premium with the 3rd row. Thanks!

I've never even heard of an OR model just SR5, Trail, Pro, and Limited??

    Edit,
I just went to the Toyota site to build my own, I guess the OR took the place of the trail?

That seems like a really good deal, when I build one with no accessories added the MSRP is $40265. They had to have a sale price close to 36K for you to get out the door at 38,200!

    Sticker was just over $40k

Trail and Trail Pro were replaced in 2017 with the TRD OFF Road and OFF Road Premium
