If anyone comes across a grey Tacoma in California with plates that read “OG SAHN” dude is a legend in my book. I drove from Sacramento to Eugene today with my wife and daughter and this guy shadowed me for a few hundred miles. Was blocking, dropping back, perfect team driving and no idea who he is. Heck at one point a tour bus cut me off to pass SIX SEMIS and didn’t crack 65 doing it. I finally passed the bus and this Taco drives up right after and double flips him off as he passed.

    L E G E N D

My wife asked later where my friend took off to, she thought I knew hi.

I think it was a 2017. Chatting with what wife saw when it passed there was TRD Pro badging. I guess that would make it cement, but no noticeable mods. Since it was behind me most of the time I paid more attention to the stance/offset.

Eldest is graduating from U of O. Coming back in a few weeks and moving her to Portland for the “next chapter”. Friggin love it here, almost as soon as we hit the boarder I drop the windows and start enjoying the smell of southern and central Oregon.

Right on. Tell her congratulations. I've got kind of a love hate outlook on Eugene/Oregon. Its a beautiful area. An hour from the coast and an hour from the mountains. There's a lot to do if you enjoy the outdoors. The amount of homeless and drug use is freaking insane. Oregon just decriminilaized user amounts of Meth/Heroin. A speeding ticket is more trouble than having drugs on you. I work as a LEO so I'm prolly a bit jaded but I don't see myself staying here too much longer.

Damn. My youngest goes to school in Pasadena and we do joke there is more homeless here than in LA which just seems weird to me. Now I get it

Its getting bad here. I'm in my thirties and have lived here for 20 or so years and it has gotten progressively worse. It never used to be this way which is the really sad part. Downtown Eugene is disgusting. I wont take my family down there. The city is scrambling right now to clean up parts of town due to the track meet coming up. It's too little too late though.

It's been a long time since I teamed up with some rando on the freeway to get ahead in life. That's an awesome story! Haha

My daughter was accepted at U of O to their PhD program. So glad she declined and went to OU. Very sad situation in lots of cities where drugs are decriminalized. In Austin, TX you will get a citation for smoking a cigarette but not for smoking pot. Or meth. Crazy.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
And yet nicotine is THE most addictive, and dangerous, drug known to mankind.
I'm so glad that the larger Oregon cities are gettin so very PC. No cigarettes, but meth and heroin are OK.
I'm even more glad I live in a very small Oregon town, outside of a very reasonable mid-sized city. Klamath Falls doesn't legalize drugs of any kind, other than tobacco. It's still realistic as to the laws, and we support our cops, not try to "defund" them. Not perfectly safe, but a lot better than Portland or Eugene!

    Be safe, all!

I thought Texas was pretty strict on the marijuana still these days? Atleast from what I saw on live PD before that show got ‘canceled’

Austin is part of Texas in geography only. Been that way for many years. Yes, marijuana is still very illegal in Texas and is perhaps the second biggest waste of taxpayer money, second only to the salaries of politicians.

I don’t get why they just don’t let it go even New York legalized it.

If by “they” you mean the legislature, everything with them is about power and money. If marijuana were legalized there would be such a reduction in court cases that lawyers substantially would lose revenue, bail bond companies would go out of business, courts would no longer be needed so many employees would be let go, even law enforcement would see a reduction in their workload. Where I live one of the local “news” websites posts every daily arrest, including photos and charges. The number of pom cases is staggering.

Even legalized, like it is here in Oregon, there's still plenty of legal/law enforcement work to do.

The cops around here are constantly finding importers of LARGE amounts, illegal grows on public lands, and so forth. They're plenty busy, and it goes right up the chain from there.
PLUS, they're (the Oregon/local government) getting plenty of tax income from the legal stuff around here. The day it was legalized, shops opened all over the area, and the tax income rolled in.

    Just our local experience...

We have ‘sticker shops’ around my area in NY. It’s legal but still rolling out the plan for dispensary’s so places sell packs of stickers for certain amounts of $$$ and gift the marijuana. Law enforcement is of course cracking down on those places, slightly. Black market will always thrive.

I think you need to to read up on Measure 110. Oregon as a whole decriminilaized user amounts of certain drugs. K Falls is no different than any other city in Oregon in regards to legalization of drugs.
