    got a yakima lock and load on my truck that I installed this past weekend.

    just wondering, how do you even attach things to the rack securely? like luggage or a foldout awning or a cooler?

    explain like im dumb please

    because i have the rack attached to my roof. Im just not sure how to secure things to the actual rack.

    Do you need a specific mount or are we talking things like camping gear? For the latter I just use ratchet straps or bungees depending on the load.
