Advice Needed on Wheel Upgrade

Good Day Gents,

So I recently upgraded my stock tires to a set of Toyo AT3's, and they are magnanimous! But since I did that upgrade, I was looking to get upgraded wheels since I curb rushed one of my stock wheels to a set of Fuel Vapors (see image).

Tires are stock size and apparently these wheels will fit my new set of tires, but goddangit, can someone explain the +2 offset to me and if that will affect ride quality?

Positive pushes the wheel more towards the car and negative pushes the wheel outside the fender.

I am assuming you have a Limited because you have a Nightshade, so you should have +15 offset now. So you are moving your wheels -13mm towards the outside of the fender(.11"). Shouldn't really effect ride quality but will effect how much your tires will be stuffed in the fender.

Yes it can. The more "negative" offset you go with the greater the scrub radius of the tires. I am at -16 offset with my wheel spacers and with my 255 wide tires, I have a slight rub in reverse.

 

13mm is closer to 1/2" unless there is some new kind of woke conversion system.

 

You're correct. Not sure what I put in the conversion calculator to get that. Thanks for the correction. Always important to make sure you check your work lol
