I just got my hands on a sprint booster. I can feel a noticeable difference with the throttle response. I prefer daily driving in race 2. After driving in valet mode 3, I saw around a 25% increase in fuel efficiency. With gas prices through the roof in Canada, I am seriously considering driving in valet mode 3 all the time.

I was wondering will that cause any problems with the truck. Theoretically I know it shouldn’t.

Wow. Valet mode 3 limits your power by 75%. Your 4R must really drive like a slug. It shouldn’t harm anything on the vehicle but it’s probably more of a driving safety issue. How can you pass anybody on the highway or get out of the way quickly when you need to?

I have a Sprint Booster, and have never used the valet mode. As @ElectroBoy stated, why would you want to reduce reaction time by any amount? If MPG is that important, a different vehicle is probably better.

I live in a small town so there is not really much highway driving. I dont feel that its sluggish it is more limiting your top speed. I would recommend to give it a try. I think its cool that I can smash the pedal all the way and have better fuel economy.

Fuel economy is not that important but Im getting really high numbers compared to the official ones. I average 17 l/100km on a good day with the sprint booster its down to 13.5 l/100km.

If you really want to boost your mpg numbers, you could put 215/65-17 tires on.

    17 l/100 km is 13.8 US mpg.
That’s kind of low for in-town fuel economy.
13.5 l/100km is 17.4 US mpg; about what the EPA value is for city driving.
Sounds like you hit the pedal pretty hard.

It is a mix of a few things why i am getting that 17.8 l/km in the city, and remember thats when im driving like an old man.

Its the 20 inch wheels, 3rd row seats, 4WD and all other limited extras. Also, it is where i live. My city is elevated near a lot of mountains. The city basically has zero flat roads. It is up and down up and down.
