20220421_130702_HDR.jpg Hello everyone. Some more good news to share about my 2001 Limited. After more than a month of the 4 runner sitting and struggling to get her back together and running She is on the road. We reassembled everything from the timing belt forward only to find a bad coolant leak. I sent it to a local shop for repair, not proud of that, found the new water pump had been installed with part of the old gasket still on it(double gasket) causing the leak. I drove her home from a shop I trusted an hour away from home and she ran great! Thanks for all of the advice and help along the way. John

How in god's name were they able to double gasket that water pump? That's some crazy talent!

Service? Am I on the payroll or something?

No hesitation at all. No vibrations no matter what speed. Braking is crisp and flawless. No vibrations. No clicking or engine noise

Not sure how he left some of the old gasket on ! He must have been half baked. It sure cost me a lot of time and money. Still I got this beauty for $2000 so I have a great 3rd Gen. 4Runner for around $3000 total. Can't really complain. Seen the same year truck at dealers for $6900- $8900.

My 2001 is at 222k miles and running great! I have to repair the sunroof leak and the rear wiper. Other than that she looks and runs great! Thanks for replying.
