What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Picked up a set of pro takeoffs plus Westcott lift and dobinson rear spring from a 2021 for a decent deal. Toyed with going 6112/5160 but this will do!

 

Installed the trd pro wheels on stock tires today. Looks so much better now.

windows tinted with Llumar CTX 15% all around.

 

Finally got around to swapping out my hood!!

 

Recieved my gmrs license and call sign for the updated $35 dollar fee

 

I gotta say I'm not really a fan of the Limited...

But all the chrome blacked out against the red, and the combo with that hood is fuckin sweet man..

 

I'm with you, it would look even better than it already is with lunar_t4r pro suspension.

 

I broke 170k miles and got a new rock chip in my windshield.

 

If you have KDSS, two right or two left front Pro Fox coilovers are needed or it will have a lean.

 

Installed Canvasback liners. Look a hell of a lot better than the tarp i was carrying around.

 

That would work well with my ex.

 

Did the same thing, found a take-off set with 300 miles that will be going on my 2020 SR5. Hope your swap goes seamlessly. Are you replacing the upper control arms too? The take-offs came with mine but I was told they will be identical to what is already on there.

 

No KDSS so I should be fine.

I will try using the stock ucas, as the Westcott kit doesn't require one for the pros to fit 285s. But if need be I could possibly look into that.

Installed Rago Fabrication Modular Storage Panels & Shelf

 

Completed the ceiling LED light install with the on/off switch and dimmer, completing this side (for now) of the built.

 

I picked it up from the dealership today!!!

 

Grabbed a new trasharoo and started loading her down for a weekend trip

 

Ordered it. Well, yesterday, April 20, 2022. Nautical Blue TRD Off-Road Premium with Cargo Cover and All-Weather Floor Liner Package.

 

Installed my lift over the weekend, so I was able to get my 285’s mounted and put on yesterday. Toyo Open Country AT3 LT C on SCS F5’s

 

Installed the alpha foxtrot Molle panels and shelf in the barricade position.

 

That looks badass!!

 

There is nothing better than looking at your rig right after you’ve put hours into detailing her!!

 

Where did you get that dog bed? It’s awesome!

 

Any updates on this? I really want to see how well it performs behind the grill!!!

 

I know right, there just something about how relaxing detailing is.

 

That platform you have there, it seems flush with the seats down, is that accurate?

 

I believe it's because of the sliding rear cargo deck.

 

For sure, if the sliding cargo deck is 3 inches tall and is flush with the seats down, id rather just get that and be done with it so I can get something there to sleep on

 

I'm thinking the same thing. Hopefully I can find one locally.
