    Hey guys,

To start off it’s great to be on this forum and it’s going to be good talking to all
you guys, also I had no idea where to post this so if it is in the wrong area let me
know and I will move it.

My family wants to buy a toyota 4runner. I have been looking online for a beat up old toyota 4runner.for sale and there are many to choose from but I don’t know what I am looking at to be honest. What I need to know is a rough price range I should be going for, and then any tips
and tricks that will help along the refurbishment.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks guys.

Welcome! What is your budget? What will you be using the rig for? Off road, daily driver? Any particular model year you like?

If you're looking at 2003 to 2009 4runner it will be tough to find a nice one for that money.... as far as fourth gens go, I would recommend sticking with 2005 and newer. They had a few more features and came with a 5 speed automatic transmission rather than the older 4 speed.

Thank you so much. I hope I will find a 2005 car in good condition. :)
