Yes, the Toyos have the 3 peak symbol. I picked this one because of the light weight compared with the Wildpeaks. I thought about the Coopers but they had a problem with their sidewalls in the past and one member here cautioned me about that since he had that problem. They must have it solved though.

Those are the only tires I've felt comfortable driving 80 on the highway in our heavy South Florida rain. They hold the road better than any tires I've had.

Not that you should be driving 80 in a heavy rain on any tire, but anywho.

Lol it's a Florida thing. Kind of like lead bullets and fishing weights

Doing 80 in the rain in florida is slow ... damn floridians are bananas!

back on topic, I Love my General Grabber ATX, they have been great in every condition the PNW/mountains have thrown at them and they're E rated. I've also run the Yoko Geolanders on my old ford ranger, they were great in the rain and decent in snow.

Going back and forth now between Falkens, Toyos... and KO2s... Yeah I know I said I didn't want them but the availability is way better locally than either of the other two.

Thinking load range C in stock size - can I go any bigger with a stock ORP setup?

A 275/70/17 is said to fit with no modification. This size comes in limited load ranges, so that could be a down side.

I'd stick with factory tire sizes but that's just me. I'd take the extra money that it would cost to buy a bigger tire and put it into higher quality factory size tires...

Unless you were having issues like mine. It has vibrations and weeble wobbles every once in awhile that no one can seem to figure out. So I'm probably just going to put a cheaper lift and bigger tires on it and drive it slow everywhere

Had the Toyo AT3's installed at Discount Tire in February (to replace Dunlops) and couldn't be happier. (SL / OEM)
(Bonus is that they don't hold much gravel at all...and we live on narrow / steep gravel roads in western NC mountains.)

To add another option to the pool, I've had a great a experience with the Cooper AT3 4S over 20k miles. All matter of weather in CO and the midwest. Very versatile AT tire.

This is THE best AT tire I have ever ran, and I have ran nearly all of them. It is my holy grail of AT tires.

It is awesome in the snow; deep snow, packed snow, icy snow. It is great in the desert and on rocks. It is good in mud. It is phenomenal on dirt roads and quiet on pavement. It will not hydroplane and gets great wet traction.

It is wearing like iron with 1/32nd of an inch of tread loss in 5000 miles.

I did a review of them on my YT channel and showed just how good they are in snow...

The Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrain is only available through Discount Tire, but I will run nothing else as long as they are available. I've ran the Goodyear Duratracs, the Cooper AT3s, Evolution MTs, and ST MAXX. Also the Wrangler Authority AT, Milestar Patagonia MT, and BF Goodrich ATKO2. The Ultra Terrains performed the best in all conditions except mud, but, I didn't get stuck. They performed just as well as any other AT, but not as good as the Patagonia MT or Evolution MT. They are 3 peak rated and do great.

I have the Pirelli Scorpion Plus AT's on my 4 Runner and really recommend this tire. I put them on about two weeks after getting my 4Runner. They are great in the snow, and run very quiet and smooth considering it looks like a fairly aggressive looking tire. I also had a set of these on my previous Tacoma, and this convinced me to use them again on the 4Runner.

No complaints at all with them.

Do you have any pictures you can post of them on your 4Runner?

I’m looking into this tire .

Please ignore that my truck is hideously dirty at the moment, but it's been raining for the last week where I am, and I've had to drive some dirt roads! These are stock tire sizes.
