Color Poll

Did a search and couldn't locate a color poll. So for some fun I thought I would create one. Simple question...not necessarily what your 4Runner's color is but what color to you like the best?

 

Where the hell is quicksand??!

 

My bad I'll add it...just read off the Toyota website and quicksand or "afghan tan" as my wife calls it isn't listed.

 

Yeah Quicksand was only available for 4Runners in 2016 so it was removed from the website. Your wife has good taste in names, I call it 'Insurgent Tan' myself.

 

I've owned a lot of black rigs in the past. I like black, but it was out of the running. Didn't buy a PRO, so those colors were out. Never had white, so Super White it was, and I'm still happy with it.

 

All colors seem to have their faults. I sometimes wonder about the factory rhino lining that you can get with the Jeep Wrangler. I imagine for something thats going off-road a lot that would be a great option in ANY color you want.

 

False, quicksand has no faults. It always looks clean, even covered in mud, because then it just becomes bumpy quicksand. It has low perceived reflectivity so glare is kept to a minimum. Finally, and most importantly, you can lead an overthrow of a small government because it already looks like a technical truck. Habib and Aidid chilling at your local Aloha Snackbar aren't going to take you seriously with a Soviet anti-aircraft gun mounted to the top of your Inferno 4Runner.

 

My favorite is color is the Cement, but I didn't want to buy a Pro so I got Super White. A white vehicle with black accents just looks clean IMO.

 

My first choice was the super white, and would add black as i was doing my build. The second option i would have gone with would be the Nautical Blue, and add chrome as i would do my build.

 

There's just something about this quicksand. It's changes colors in different light. Just can't get enough of it. Here's my Tundra TRDP in quicksand. Just love it. Some folks hate it. Not sure why.

 

I'm sorry guys but you're all wrong... Your stock paint doesn't matter at all. Every 4R looks its very best when it comes home from a trip and has been repainted with mud/dirt/whatever terrain you have been driving on.

@Palerider you are the neighbor that when people drive by and see your vehicles they say "I guess they like that color". haha

 

I think they must think this color was on sale. Lol.

 

If Army green comes out, that will be in the driveway too.

 

Can't put mud on the color poll...It would be lopsided. I like that idea of Army green. Like the FJ green.

 

Really hope they bring this color to the 4Runner. In a flat.
