Okay, thanks to everyone who is trying to help me so far !
Bought a code reader today, came up 0 DTC, the info on the web has no info. does this mean zero codes?
Checked the starter relay, checked all fuses, tried to reset the ECU using a paperclip- does not have the same pin configuration i.e. no pin on #13
When I turn the key, all lights on the dash come on, but the starter will not turn. Could this be caused by the immobilization system.
Tomorrow I will do a continuity check on the starter hot and ground. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, John

Did you not do as I suggested, and physically tap/hit the starter?

Ya I did that with the RS last month turned out it was the VATS. Vehicle Antitheft system. Maybe it’s tripped do you have an alarm remote?

Atleast beat on the starter once you usually get a couple more cranks if it’s bad?

There’s prob away to bypass the stater relay and get it to turn over without spark or fuel?

I did not. I will tomorrow. The 4runner is at my work. I have to work on it after work. Also, I saw a video about jumping the contacts for the starter relay. Thanks

I tried to reset the ECU via a video on Youtube. The pin were not the same. I will bang on the starter tomorrow. The 4runner is at my job. Thanks for responding

I will have to replace the battery for the key fob.
