My wife and I just bought a 2000 Toyota 4Runner, Limited, 4WD to use as our Overlanding vehicle as we live and work Nomadically/Remotely for a couple years.

I have seen a lot of great info here already and look forward to learning more and talking with you all as we prepare for this journey in the next 6-8 months.

We are looking at the Taxa Woolly Bear Trailer as our primary gear storage and living space.

Welcome! That's a nice looking 3rd gen, that'll be a great start to build on. Third gen = best gen!

Just curious, what do you do that you can do while living this lifestyle?

I work as a consultant for a company in the emergency/disaster management field so I can be remote full time.

That's great! I really need to get into something that I can do remotely, going into the office everyday is driving me nuts.

I got to work remotely for most of 2020 for the first time ever, and I think that's the highest my work-related mental health has ever been in my life.

My job has been really great as we have discussed a true remote lifestyle and making sure we can make it work with clients and contracts.
I miss being in an office to see people in person, but the lure of the outdoors is calling.
